Cowboy Action Shooting Club

Match Director - Luther Hicks

The Capital City Marshals will be holding a match on May 20 at 9:00 a.m.  The match will be held at the Central Alabama Gun Club firing range.  We will begin promptly at 9:00 am.

ALL SASS (Single Action Shooter's Society) and CAGC safety rules will be strictly observed.

To shoot you will need:

  • At least one single action revolver

  • One lever action rifle, chambered in a pistol caliber (i.e. 45 Colt, 357 mag,  44 mag, etc)  No magnum loads.  Lead bullets only.  No jacketed bullets

  • Double barrel shotgun (with or without hammers) or a pump shotgun (with a hammer) 20 gauge or larger

  • Impact resistant glasses and Hearing protection is required

  • Dress is as close to cowboy as possible.  Long sleeved shirt, boots, and hat

  • No shorts, t-shirts, or baseball caps.  Nothing camouflaged

 

This shoot is open to the public.

Women and children are welcome.

Alcohol is prohibited.

Cussing will be kept to a minimum.
